Mix it all up, throw in a little Dr. Ruth and a little Smothers Brothers, and you've got Car Talk, NPR's Peabody Award-winning radio program. Car Talk is hosted by Tom and Ray Magliozzi, better known to their listeners as "Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers" - monikers taken from the clickety-clack sound of aging automobiles. During the show, Tom and Ray freely dispense expert car advice to callers in the broad accents of their native East Cambridge neighborhood.

I record this show on a weekly basis and enjoy it. They keep it simple so all of us can understand the answer to a car issue.

I would give it 5 stars but they laugh a little too much on the show.

The best show on NPR. I'm going to start recording this on my XMP3 so I can listen while I'm driving down the road.

These guys are helpful and entertaining. They work great together and give out useful information...
