ok, officially...this is what the podcast is about

-Current events and updates in SiriusXM without getting into the politics of the business
- TSS radios mission to help with siriusanswers.com. product review and specials ETC

this is not a DRC podcast, this is not exclusive to sirius xm, this is for people to learn more about Sirius XM while explaining our mission and what we can do here at TSS radio for everyone

For some reason this thread just took all the wind out of my sails. We should have just done a couple weeks of podcasts first. Now I just feel like abandoning the whole thing.

Naw naw, don't abandon it. Do a few, then ask for tweaking opinions here afterwards. I can't wait to hear what you will do with it.

Unfortunately doing that is going to keep folks from tuning in. You need to have news and information which keeps people coming back week after week, not drive them away because it sounds like a 10 minute ad.

This is what I meant by you need to be subtle. You guys clearly got the talent there but you need a hook to get people to want to tune in week after week.

Again don't take this the wrong way, just giving you some advice from someone who been there and done that.

Well excuse me, but I've listened to some of Scott's and I have to say I've always been bored to tears and usually can't get through them before shutting them off.

I thought the fast pace, staying on task and just getting info out there would keep me coming back. These long drawn out podcast where they toot their own horn rather than actually provide real information is more of a turn off.

Clearly the point here has been totally missed as this is a TSS Podcast to highlight current products and also provide some technical information on those products. I think it accomplished both of those things. The products being pushed for the week could certainly be toned down a tad bit. Maybe pick a couple of products to give some support information in regards too.

The one thing I found was the background music during the support section was too loud and in my opinion it either needs to be turned down or after 30 seconds stopped and then right at the end you could turn it on again.

I personally enoyed the whole thing and in context of what it was designed for and to do, I think you guys were right on.

I do thing the p p in the mike has to be fixed!

Taylor I wouldn't abandon this over a couple of negative bits of feedback. Those folks gave their opinion, take the parts you feel are credible and let the rest go. I don't want TSS to do the type Podcast that Scott does. Keep it short, fast paced and too the point! Make it fun!

You know what they say... Opinions are like assholes, everybody's got one, it is just that some stink a lot worse than others! ROTFLOL

DAB, I agree with you abou the pace. It was very well paced.

And again, I think TSS & crew did a good job. This topic was soliciting opinions and I always have one. Perhaps I should have given some of the positives being the knowledgable hosts, and the pace, but since I perceived they were asking for what they could improve, I responded. I certainly would not classify my response as negative. And in the end, it is only my opinion and TSS & crew are free to file it wherever they choose.

I will look forward to the next one.

Me likey Stiletto Aterio. Interesting ear plugs and the finger antenna. My son can sketch like nobody's business. I should give him my old SL10 and see what he comes up with.

I will visit this blog site again. The ideas are just beginning to flow.

Yeah it is always good to temper or balance a post between what you notice was not good and what you notice was good and then make suggestions.

No harm, No foul!

I just felt that as the others did that you and more particularly Scott missed the whole point of the Podcast!
