What ads? Mel has been on show after show, after show and he is always asked about commercials on the music channels. He has said with absolutely certainty that ads on the music is OFF THE TABLE. This is their major drawing card and they know this. If they added commercials to music it would be GAME OVER!

Maybe he's talking about the commercials on the ClearChannel XM channels?

Maybe but that has nothing to do with Sirius XM those are totally operated by CC.

I do like that Pink Channel, they play some good jam!

Glad they are keeping it!

I was really looking forward to getting Hits 1, would be great to hear Kid Kelly and Spyder Harrison again.

I wonder why they aren't including Hits 1, maybe the Clear Channel KISS conflict?

Also, great to see Hwy 16 will stay. It's a much stronger country hits station than New Country.

I think Sirius Hits 1 and XM Hitlist are being combined to make Pop 2k.

The announcers on Sirius 128 confirmed that Sirius NASCAR Radio is moving to XM 128 next Wednesday from XM 104 where it is currently at.

Spyder Harrison is also JJ Jackson on Totally 70's. He does a great job there as well - totally energetic. I assume he'll be kept on for 70s on 7.

The point is why pay for both XM and Sirius if they're going to be the same thing.

Reading is fundamental...so is comprehension. Try both sometimes before replying.
No you asked specifically about that one person on the classical music channels. And you said that if he wasn't there anymore that blew away any reason to keep your XM subscription. So yes, you are stating you are paying for an XM subscription, $12.99 per month, for that one guy on the classical music channels.

I comprehended that the way you stated it.

Nothing - I repeat: not a darned thing - is happening to the SIRI lineup. It's all about du-duping content in the XM lineup. The two channel listings will never be identical until both systems fully merge like 10-15 years from now. Until then, it's all about removing duplicate content creation from the business. And that's what this is all about.

Hope this helps!!!

This is not true. The Pulse is moving from 9 to 12. Led Zepplin/The Bridge from 12 to 33.
Something is coming on channel 9. Something will happen to whatever is on 33 right now.
So there are at least some changes although not nearly as many as there should be. They really should have gone with a standard channel lineup.
