Arrgh, need a cheap replacement!

Someone got in our van last night and swiped my week-old Stratus 5. They left the dock, the power cable, and the cassette adapter (Gotta love stupid thieves, what's the head unit of a Stratus worth by itself??).

Anyway, I was only planning to use this on family trips, and turn off the sub when we're not using it. (And it's a backup for the inevitable death of my S50.) On eBay right now, I can get a "new" Stratus 3 for $10 delivered, or a Sportster 3 for about $24. Any significant reliability problems with those units, considering they won't be heavily used?

Sportster 3 won't fit the Stratus cradle where the plugs are on the side. It's slightly thicker. I would consider getting the Stratus 3 you found, or we sell the Stratus 5 for $39.99 Here. We could knock off about $15 for your trouble and situation.

Some idiot did the same thing with my wife's S50, took the top, useless after 4 hours when the battery dies. I think they thought it was an iPod...

Anyway, I called Sirius to suspend the account and they offered me a cheap radio for free. It's worth every penny I paid for it. No remote, no features, nothing. I'd go with one of the TSS offers...

We have one BRAND New S50 that we were saving for a rainy day or situation like yours BTW. You can get just the unit if you want.

You guys at TSS are simply the best. Why can't more service oriented businesses still serve their customers like this these days?

I thought about replacing it, but my brother isn't using the radio I bought him and it has some features. I just need to get him to find it...

Plus it finally gave me another car dock for the garage. I was moving the dock and unit in and out of my car every day. Not good for the antenna connector. Now its so easy just to grab the top.

Call sirius up and tell em youre gonna cancel ,then tell em you have no radio now ,they'll more than likely give you a cheapo for free!
