Default Premium WiFi Internet stream on Stiletto. How?

Everytime I use the Stiletto WiFi I get the junky, worse than AM radio streams. I pay for the upgraded premium streams from Sirius ($2.99 per month). Why doesn't the Stiletto use the high quality streams? Has anyone got this to work? Is there a setting for it?

It is my understanding that this is something that you cannot do just yet, but it is something that Sirius is looking into adding at some point. At least that's what I've seen said around the boards here from people more knowledgeable than I

Default Thanks for the info. WiFi SHOULD use the high quality stream!

Too bad. Then I'm going to send the Stiletto back to Sirius. I'd use the satellite signal, but with the lame, constantly moving orbit of the Sirius satellites, I cannot get a consistent signal inside or outside around my house. Trees, other homes, etc. block the signal as the satellites move. I have an XM radio which gets rock solid signal that DOES NOT MOVE. Sirius has better programming, but XM got it right with the geosynchronous, geostationary satellites.

I agree with you, I have the same situation as you...I returned my Stiletto about 6 weeks ago for the same reasons you listed. There is no good explanation as to why Sirius won't let the WiFi stream come thru at the full bit rate. I have been using SiriusWM5 on my Treo to listen while driving, and the thing sounds perfect at 128kbps, no signal drop at all...

I also went ahead and got an S50 since they dropped so much in price and I was having to listen to recorded material anyways. But I will say, if the Stiletto does get an upgrade in the future to the Premium stream, I will buy another one, because then the device would be perfect!
