Default wifi!!!!!!!!

i was outside all weekend raking leaves. i couldn't get a live sat signal so i was just listening to my loved songs. i decided to try out wifi, didn't expect anything.

well it worked!!!! i was outside my house and had 1 bar going. it was perfect, no dropouts or anything. i love the stiletto

Good to hear. What type of router are you using? And what kind of range does the manual state you would get?

The extenders are cheaper at Wal Mart than at CC.

Yes, I got mine at Walmart for $49.99, it suppose to add something like 7db to the range. I am not technical enough to know what that means. Anyway, I can use mine in my backyard under huge trees, so I am real happy about that. Once I get the boombox, I'll be able to use it back there when we have cook-outs without having to run an antenna like I use to with my older tuners.

Another suggestion is to place your router or access point as high up as you can get it. I have mine mounted on the wall as high as I can get it. I was shocked how much this improved the reception throughout my home, compared to when I had it just sitting on my desk.

I've got a Linksys WRT54G with extended range antennas. I can use my Stiletto all over my yard outside without losing the signal.
