Default Thorough Hacking

Well, now that I've received the Stiletto, I've began hacking it. Nice little interface. While I was walking the dog, I recorded Teddy Geiger's "These Walls" and connected USB again to thoroughly search the public data.

The URL in an XML file is labeled under serviceURL, which probably means it's for WiFi upgrade, but it may be Internet Radio's portal to the streams:
https://216.243.79.65:8000/Routing.ashx/Hopefully I'm done, but I'm not. Going into System Files, there's a file labeled 4C2CM1, with no extension. This may be the stored PAC. I can't open it though. I'll find out how, but it'll be complicated.

Told you guys the Stiletto can be easily hacked.

EDIT: The new Sirius Studio included in the CD cannot play any uploaded songs including the PAC's. Hopefully you guys with S50s have the option to listen to your recorded content. Maybe move PAC to S50's MSS?

No, you cannot move "loved" songs from the S50 to your computer and play them under any circumstances.

If you move the .mp3 files to the PC it will play those.

I found libpac (on sourceforge) that will convert Sirius's PAC files into PCM-audio:

http://superb-west.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/libpac/libpac-0.6.2.tar.gz

Someone with better C++ skills than me can probably understand and compile this.

The s50's .pac files were encrypted .pac files. I tried a lot of .pac converters none seemed to work. But keep trying!

I bet this will fall. Real WX may have found the pathway..the audio is stored on the Stiletto, so we just need an algorithm that will act as a reader. It will be hacked I am sure about. The one hack I am waiting for is recording from Wifi, but this will actually require finding a way in to the software on the Stiletto itself.

hvacigar is right, I might've figured out the bridge between the stiletto and the PC, but right now it's a bridge to infinity... unless, as he said, there's a decryptor for PAC to PCM audio (WAV) then to MP3.

There are Sirius PAC decryptors on the internet. Though someone may have better luck than I have.
