typical partisan politics. It'll get fought about for the next 12 months, then a democrat will get elected to the presidency and Dingell will be told to drop his crusade, he will, then the new president will put their "guy" in charge of the FCC who will be just as good and honest as Bush's "guy."

I can only hope and pray that the FCC goes the way of the Dodo. It's an archaic waste of tax dollars who's only purpose seems to be to ensure that all entertainment is bland and inoffensive.

There is nothing in the constitution about forming an agency to police communication, in fact, the First Amendment strictly prohibits it.

Congress shall make no law... abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press.

Seems pretty clear to me.
