Default Raw Dog Comedy Channel - Simply the best.

I bought Sirius for music, but I found myself heavily addicted to your Raw Dog Channel, the comedy selections is great. If there is any chance you guys could play some DR. Dirty John Valby songs would rock.

Though I dont particularly care for the UK Comedians you have on raw dog.. as their comedy taste is so "monty pythonish" but regardless a flick of the switch and Im off.

Breuer Unleashed and the Wise Guy show are awesome too, its great hearing Uncle Floyd I grew up with him in NJ and still remember The Ramones playing live on his show. I doubt these people frequent this Forum.. but hey I had to let someone know... keep the raw dog comedy coming!

awwwman I fucked up.. I thought it said Comic... not Cosmic

You got the right forum.

Raw Dog Rocks! However, I'd like to see some more live stand-up acts...something similar to a Comedy Central or HBO special.

Speaking of which...I just noticed this:

Quote:
The Doug Stanhope Special
Tues 3/29 (6 pm – 8 pm ET)
Comedian Doug Stanhope is taking over Raw Dog for the evening. Right after Breuer, Doug will be taking your calls about rehabilitating the working man and putting it to “the system.” We don’t dare go into detail here, except to say that we are looking for war stories, road stories, good drug stories (prescription of course) and general tales of madness. Long stories need not apply unless there’s a fatality or jailtime in there. According to a nameless blog somewhere in cyberspace, there are rumours amuck of a surprise appearance by Clay Aiken as well as an assisted suic... we’ve already said too much. Just don’t miss it.

Anyway, you might want to send SIRIUS your feedback:

I only know of Raw Dog because Rude Jude (on Shade 45) rips into some dude known as "Comedy Phil" just about everyday. It's pretty funny. Is this done on both stations, or is Jude the only one taking shots?

(The funniest is when Jude called up his intern, Sasha [Phil's girlfriend], and fired her over the phone for saying he was talking about him. She was like, "You were though. You called him a midget!". Jude quipped back, "I called him a Metamusil, Rogaine midget! That's why I'm firing you, Sasha. You can't get anything right!".)

I am new to Sirius and am starting to listen to all of the channels now.

Do they ever play Ernest Cline on Raw Dog?

This guy is brilliant!

Been listening to it alot, myself....would like to see the audio quality improve though...some of the comedians are barely audio or sometimes even sound like they're talking through a beach towel.

Brings up something else I've noticed...the volume across channels is horribly uneven (not so much from music channel to music channel...but switching back and forth between Raw Dog and something like Octane or other rock channels).

With Looney Skip Rooney? I used to watch that on NJ PBS I think....don't see any mention of Sirius on any of the Uncle Floyd pages on the web.

This channel has been real popular with a lot of people that I know that have Sirius. I hope they continue to keep the programming rolling with Stern coming on board.

Raw Dog has to be one of the top 10 Sirius channels in terms of listenership (though it may be the one most hurt by Stern).

I'd be very interested to see when Arbitron decides to accept Sirius listening from their diaries who ends up winning the 3-way battle for 4-6 ET supremacy:

Breuer vs. Bower vs. Bubba
