The server that is hosting the tracker has been in a state of flux over the past two nights...I've reset the site, but no effect (this worked last night). I will try again in the morning.

Apologies for the tracker performance lately...it looks like stream_ON is starting to outrun the abilities of the server I am using. I am working to implement a backup (stream_ON already has support for this, although the old backup server no longer exists). If anyone has access to a high-bandwidth server, and is willing to share some load, please let me know. In the mean time, stream_ON will provide up-to-the-second listings for the channel to which you are currently listening.

Eric - Not sure where dogstar gets their info on songs and artists, but theirs seems to be updating correctly. Would it be possible to use them as a source:

I would recommend against using dogstarradio data because it'll just create more problems for him and the stream_ON users if storm uses the data.

So far, I have managed to stabilize the primary source for now...I will keep an eye on it, but so far so good.

I have contacted some folks regarding backup data sources, including DogStarRadio.com. The next stream_ON update will contain any new sources.

In addition, I have just installed a new computer, with Vista Home Premium. stream_ON to work fine and looks great. I am planning to eventually upgrade stream_ON into .NET 3.0 (Vista version of .NET 2.0), to take full advantage of the new interfaces. More on that later...

Absolutely LOVE it!

My favorite thing about satellite is 'flipping' channels and I can finally do this again without having to have the actual receiver.

The stream_ON tracker has been restored and the server is now updating. I also am preparing to launch a second server to provide data to stream_ON. Look for a minor stream_ON update soon.

Here is stream_ON 1.4. It is a minor update with several changes and fixes:

--Added: Stiletto-inspired channel announcements
--Added: Splash screen at start-up
--Added: Full-Throttle setting can now be saved
--Added: Backup data source
--Updated: New channel logos
--Modified: Graphics now include SIRIUS Internet Radio logo

--Modified: Double-Click to change the channel (Enables use of scroll wheels)
--Fixed: FINALLY corrected channel/artist/title synchronization problem

I love the new version. I was having some freezing issues at first but after a restart, it works great. Also thanks for the channel announcements!

it seems like disabling the channel name announcement does not stick once you close the program. I prefer to not have the announcement and I have to un check it every time I start the program.

Why would you want to turn those off?!? :-) I will check this out...it looks like I may have overlooked this when I updated the ability to save the full-throttle setting on login.
