Default AT&T Wifi

Anyone ever connect to AT&T hotspots? Where I work there is free Wifi access via AT&T, but when I go to connect my SL2 ask for a ID and password.

I am not sure why since I am using my laptop to connect to AT&T and does not ask for a password. I have tried to use any ID and still does not connect to the Internet. Any ideas?

Thanks
Kenny

I have had the same problem in a few airports. The SL2 will find the free networks but then a username and password are asked for. I have not been able to get the SL2 to work via WIFI at any of these.

Doesn't the SL2 allow you to authenticate on secure wi-fi networks?

The AT&T wi-fi hotspots are great if you have their DSL service. They allow you to access it easily at no cost by just entering your account name and password.

The SL2 does not provide the ability to enter a username and/or password.

The thing is connecting via my laptop at the same location no ID or password required. I am not sure why the SL2 is asking for this?

No WEP or WAP Key need for my laptop. All I know that once i connect to the ATT Wifi that i ask for an acknowledgment which I think the SL2 can not understand and that is why it keeps asking me for an ID and PW.

Yes. The SL2 can't handle any popups or prompts.
