Default The Beat Vs. BPM

BPM sounds like a mp3 jukebox these days. Whats up with that???!!! Alan Freed will give his music news once a hour, and you might catch him on during the day. Other times its just jockless and the imaging is now outdated. They use the same sweepers as last year! Their music is simliar to The Beat still with a slight edge on certain tracks that 66 isn't playing but boy has The Beat got more aggressive than they were last year..

In my opinion The Beat wins as the best satellite dance station for hits because it just "Feels like a real radio station." Area 63 and Remix are great too.. Something XM radio doesn't have.

This poll is for people who have both XM and Sirius. Please vote for best dance hits station.

I am not a big listener of The Beat but when I do listen I feel like a decent amount of the time I listen it's a great deal of dance remix's and a large deal of repeats. But sometimes that is good depending on what I am in the mood for. I find myself enjoying Area 63 out of any of the channels I listen to. I leave it there most of the day and most of my S>Seeks are songs from that channel.

I enjoy The Beat but I feel that BPM on XM taps a little more into the variety of what dance hits are. Each service is great in a different way hard for me to say which one is better.

I agree, With the Dog. The Beat sounds like a real "live" radio station. Sirius deserves a lot of credit for trying to make them sound like real stations. Anyone can string a bunch of sweepers and songs to together....like XM does. BPM is like internet radio in your car.
