Yep, everyone does. The preview channel is for new subscribers who haven't activated service yet. Channel 220 is a test tone that the engineers use to troubleshoot the repeater and satellite network.

How do you like your radio?

AFAIK, I have never received 220 on my tuner... or tuned it in on a demo unit when browsing channels.
Is it possible this is a channel coming from a repeater??!

Default 220 Repeater Channel??

I think you are right! Sometimes I get 220 and others I don't. I think it is a repeater channel.

I personally have the Jensen SSR2000 and do receive the test channel on this. However I was getting an alarm system installed in my car and had the audio store's show vehicle that had the Kenwood Sirius system. This system did not receive the test channel.

So I'm not sure if certain receivers don't display it or not....

It's definitely not a repeater channel, because I have received it in very rural places where no repeaters are present.

So it either comes from a specific satellite which is not always available or perhaps the Sirius engineers turn it on and off while they are testing?
