Default Kenwood KTC-SR902 Well???

hey everyone.

So the KTC-SR902 is finally in stock at crutchfield. Has anyone used this unit yet with the new antennas. I am curious if it is worth the upgrade if my 901 is still working perfectly. I will definatly pick one up if it cleans up the sound a little more, loads stream data and music faster, and has less dropouts due to the antenna pulling in the signal better.

Thanks

I haven't tested one personally, but you can count on improvements in all of those aspects. I'll be adding a X969 and 902 tuner to my new 4Runner in a few weeks.

How is the new 4runner Jeff? Is it the new design or did you get a used one?

It's a preowned '02. Quite an improvement from my '95.

The H2A is working out great until I get my permanent Sirius install.

The new ones are quite strange looking. I haven't decided if I like the body style or not.

I know the H2A sounds a lot better than my 901 I had in my Jetta. So I imagine the 902 would sound better.

Looks like the Crutchfield description may be inaccurate. I've been told their is no fan.

Pete, what say you?

I want to buy one to upgrade my 901 to a 902, but CC has cost on it is listed at a penny so no manager will let me buy it until they figure out if that is a mistake or not .

Thanks John.

Will there be a 2-to-1 antenna adapter or will the 902 work with just the low-profile antennas.
