Default Service in Seattle

Has anyone had issues with a signal in the Seattle area? I can no longer get a signal with my house receiver, I just get the acquiring signal. I have not moved/changed anything.

I had not used my radio since 12/10. When I went to use it this past weekend I could not get a signal without hanging the antenna off my balcony. It has been this way (from what I know) 12/16 - present. Does anyone know if the recent wind storm and power outage have affected the signal for the repeaters?

It's possible the weather caused some problems, you guys had some serious weather last week huh? I'm here in portland but was in Mexico last week.

I would try every conceivable spot for the antenna, then call Sirius and let them know. Maybe someone else from Seattle will respond if they have the same issues.

Default I had trouble, too

I say "had trouble" b/c yesterday I canceled my account. Am looking at xmradio.

I had great reception on both products, then nothing on either. Even with that, I was told that I wasn't getting good enough reception and I'd had to place my antenna somewhere else. That this was not a Sirius problem, it was a problem with my antenna placement. Also, they said they had no complaints from Seattle, which I find incredibly hard to believe.

Their tech support is incompetent. I will never recommend Sirius. It's a great product - when it works.

Default working now

So I went round and round with the tech support. They are definitely lacking as some had never even heard of repeaters . Anyway, when I got home to test some items they had given me, the system was working. I am going to see what they say about this sudden change but maybe something was related to the wind storm.

I'll update if I get more info.
