No, or else their current
PR would be something much different. No they got a cease and desist there is little doubt about it.
The sad part is that Sirius will no doubt put out a application, but it probably won't be nearly as good.
I think if they had been smart they would have tapped these guys to take over the project, but I am sure they would want to be paid.
The bottom line is we don't know what went on behind the scenes and since neither party is talking, we'll never really know.
