I think this idea that the Earth is warming up consistently everywhere seems a bit odd. I think that climate trends are definitely changing though.

When I was a kid it always seemed like September was more of a fall month, now it seems more like Summer than fall. But in the spring time it felt like March was more spring, but now it's more like Winter. Who knows maybe I'm going crazy in my old age.

I'm just not sure that we have enough of the picture to make this claim. 200 years out of a few billion or a few thousand, depending on who you believe.

Of course, there's no reason not to try to minimize man's impact on the planet as long as its reasonable...
