[quote=xan_user;49897]You know your right, why dont we both forget about it, and let our kids deal with it?

Ok, so you want to spend some money on a theory that is not yet proved, and in fact could be wrong? How much disposable income are you willing to give up to accomplish the goal of reducing CO2 since you don't want to pass it on to your kids? There is a cost associated with the radical changes proposed you know and we all will pay for it. Some think we could be heading into a cooling period. How silly would that be to spend a bunch of money to prevent "warming" when the planet is cooling?
Don't get me wrong, I'm for progress in this area that is carefully planned to prevent major economic impacts. However the radicals out there want us to believe we have 4 years before we have reached the point of no return. Well I have news for those radicals, then it's too late already, it's impossible to significantly change green house gas emissions "world wide" in 4 years.
