Default Mitt Romney and fast food.

God this guy is lame:

He likes pizza, but insists on scraping off the cheese before he ever takes a bite. He likes fried chicken, but only when the skin has been removed. He likes Big Macs, but only after removing the middle bun. He likes Coca-Cola because, he explained in his 2004 book Turnaround, it reminds him of polar bears, but he rarely drinks it because he can't have caffeine. On the trail, Romney has name-dropped Carl's Jr. and spoken of the wonders of WaWa but subsists mainly on granola he carries around in one-gallon Ziploc bags.

No. But removing cheese from pizza? Pulling the skin off chicken? Removing the center bun from a big mac? Give me a break. Just don't eat it if you don't want to. And it's not like eating a few pieces of pizza is going to kill you. Man up for a photo op and then go back to your granola, or just don't eat it at all. But don't be lame.

The most recent Presidents... Obama, Bush, Clinton seem like alright guys to watch a baseball game and drink a beer. Not picking up that vibe with Romney.

Many people remove the skin from the chicken because the skin isn't healthy for you. Maybe he doesn't like cheese but likes pizza. My great-grandmother always removed cheese from her pizza simply because she liked pizza for the crust and sauce. Also many people are carb conscience and that extra piece of bread is pointless, in my opinion. I get that you don't like the guy but that doesn't mean that everything he does is wrong. I'm sure if he would "man up" just for the photo op you could call him a phony and bitch that he is doing something just for the camera.

Nothing wrong with doing some things in public for appearance. There's a lot of foreign food that I find freakishly disgusting, but I eat it when it's offered because it's rude not to. It's just another instance of Romney being completely out of touch with 99% of the world. I tend to eat a mostly vegetarian diet for health reason. I don't like the skin on chicken either. But I'll be damned if I'm going to be pulling skin and cheese off things before eating them - especially if I were running for president and standing in front of cameras.

He just can't digest that stuff.
It's hard on his system.
It's further proof that he's a robot.

Give him some 5W30 and and he can go for another 5,000 miles.

I see the two being very different. It would be different if you eat the food then when the host(s) turn their head you spit it out. Growing-up I cant remember a single month where we didn't have a foreigner living with us. We had people from all over the world including many parts of Asia. During that time I too have had many freakishly disgusting meals but I was taught to eat it because not doing so would be considered rude. Probably the worse thing I ever had was from Japan. it was a typical "fast breakfast" which was comprised of a triangle of sticky rice wrapped in dehydrated kelp and topped with "sprinkles" that were dehydrated fish guts. Damn was that shit ever disgusting!!! On the other side of things it taught me to enjoy many dishes that most Americans would find disgusting. One such dish is boiled chicken feet. I actually found a restaurant that serves them on a buffet, in Southfield, MI.

I can agree with that.

I actually have more respect for him due to these actions. It tells me that he isn't pandering to the camera the way most politicians do. There is something genuine about him even though that genuineness shows how out of touch he is.
