Because those were the two most blatant examples that I came to mind where when they screwed up you said to yourself there is no way they can win reelection and yet the sheeple are blind to the truth and vote them back in anyway. Barney Frank and Edward Kennedy also come to mind.
So what has Obama screwed up on? The private sector economy is improving faster than after any other depression/recession in US history. The PUBLIC sector is where we're being hammered. If you're going to demand "smaller government", don't cry when we have losses of government jobs.
Maybe that's the way he sees Obama. He's just another broke (insert your favorite n'word here).

Maybe he's just waiting for Obama to fail, so he can point his finger at him & say "Ya see? Ya see?".

I don't see color I see incompetence, this is the last stand argument that the left has. If you are against Obama you must be racist. Its admitting that you have lost the argument and you have nothing else to read racism into it.

So do you think that spending is down under Obama?

Did the 3.52 Trillion include the bullshit bailouts of wall street and the banks? If so what was the number before W took this costly and inappropriate action to save these bastards that screwed up?

Is 3.58 trillion more or less than 3.52 trillion?

You act like government spending is rewritten every election. It's not. Go google "medicare part D", a lovely (unfunded) mandate put in place by Bush. Don't worry, he didn't pay for his wars either. The FACT is, whether you like it or not, government spending has DRAMATICALLY SLOWED under Obama. It's a fact, deal with it. Under the marxist-socialist-nbomb, SPENDING HAS SLOWED AT A RATE NOT SEEN FOR DECADES.

And when Medicare part D was proposed, I said it was a bad idea.

I realize that most of these politicians are full of shit, but we spending money we don't have on ideas that make us feel good.

Didn't answer the question has spending gone up or down since Obama took office?

And you can't seem to understand that Obama doesn't control every aspect of the budget. In 2009, did Social Sercurity, medicare/caid and the wars suddenly stop?? FACT - spending has SLOWED TO RECORD LEVELS. Show me where Obama's spending is creating record deficits. Almost ALL SPENDING is from previous mandates. Can you not farking read? The final number is irrelevant. Fact is that Obama's budgets have reflected a decrease in spending not seen in decades.
