Regarding the topic of Katrina, you may as well get used to because they will talk about it ad naseum. My perspective is different because I lived here through all that, but the story remains compelling, in my opinion. A city, very nearly destroyed, then very close to losing its team to San Antonio or LA... team rises up from the ashes, or in this case a flood, and reaches the Super Bowl 4 seasons later. It's the stuff movies are made of!

I think the game will be an awesome one. Two high scoring teams. Two teams that combined to win 27 in the regular season. Good stuff.

Being from Louisiana this is a big deal and not just the Katrina deal. If your not from South Louisiana I don't know if anyone can relate to how important having the Saints in the Super Bowl. Brees has kept New Orleans together and given fans something to look forward to. He does a lot for the community. This is really a big deal.

On another front...Louisiana fans travel well. Expect a lot of black and gold in the stands.

To me, you could make a compelling argument for either one of them to win. Right now I think the Colts have the best chance of winning, but that could change in the two weeks until the big game.

Super Bowl®©™ = excuse to get together with friends, drink lots of beer and eat Cheetos. I really don't give a shit who plays as long as I don't have to work and can watch the cool commercials.

I'm excited about the game but I would be MORE excited if both teams went in with no losses.

Anybody else hear that there's a gay commercial to be shown? Two guys making out.

And I still want the SB played on Saturday night!!!

We've all been spoiled with a run of good, competitive games over the past decade.

I think that ends this year and we go back to 1985-1996 style might-as-well-get-some-dishes-done-in-the-3rd-quarter domination by the Colts. Like the span when you only wondered how bad NFC Team ____ would crush AFC Team _____. Unless the Saints actually come out expecting to win the game on their own terms rather than wait for Manning to make a mistake, a la Favre. Even then, I still dont think they're capable of keeping him off balance the whole game.
