Nahhhh...not at all. Why should we be? We have the Texans!

Really though...Tennessee should think about dumping that light blue color. Look at the Ravens, they went the complete opposite direction with their color scheme when the franchise moved from Cleveland. Five years later, they won the Super Bowl.

As long as you insist on wearing Oiler colors, that franchise will never win a Super Bowl
Only counting from when they became the Titans and settled in Nashville we have had 6 winning seasons, 3 losing seasons, and two 8-8 seasons. Twice we lost in th e divisional round being a number 1 seed and being 13-3 to the damned Ravens. So you could say we've had a decent run, but not great. As far as I'm concerned Houston can have back all it's records and colors, those cursed Oilers uniforms should be burned. When exactly did the Houston Oilers go to the Super Bowl? Oh yea, never. Just playin, but get over it man, you have an NFL team that's no worse than the oilers were.
Who's gonna win the SB first, Texans or Titans? Or neither, yikes.

Hey...two-time AFL Champs. Better recognize!

They may not have been wearing Oiler uniforms, but they went to the Super Bowl in 2000. The core group of that Titans team was put together in Houston (Fisher, McNair, George, Bruce Matthews, Jon Runyan, Wycheck, Eddie Robinson, Blaine Bishop, Marcus Robertson, Del Greco, etc.)....which made it even tougher to see Tennessee go to the Super Bowl that year.

But you're right...even though the city loved the Oilers, they never really won anything of relevance in 35+ years. And obviously the Texans have done absolutely nothing so far in their eight seasons. It's going to be nice when Houston finally has a winner (if ever). I'm living vicariously through Saints fans today.

You don't count the two years when they were the Tennessee Oilers?

Meh, they were kinda in no mans land when they were floating around those first two years. (BTW, Nahsvillians aren't so enamored with anything Memphis, nobody their gives a damn about the Grizzlies) When they finally landed in Nashville and changed their name to the Titans, that's really when they became the Titans we love today. It's like we dated two years, and got married in 1999. Going to the Super that year sure did help too!

C'mon...the Ravens built their Super Bowl on 1st round picks pulled from the backs of underachieving Browns teams with great defenses.

Cleveland would have probably had their first kiss of Lombardi in the same timeframe had Modell not bailed.
