Apparently they're doing this on all the sports channels now... I mean, God forbid you have to get an intern or a producer to do 2 minutes of NFL news or nascar news! Why not just have one person to do ALL the sports channels

Count me in as not being a fan of the new sports update. I've never tuned into SIRIUS/XM 128 to find out how the NFL, NHL, MLB, or NBA games turned out. I'm not sure why I need to know that now. Maybe this all part of the 'Weekday lineup changes on 128'?

Is that what this is about? I was really confused when i tuned in to 128 for the first time today at 3 PM and heard mad dog going on about sports i don't give a crap about for 3 minutes. I thought that maybe the channels had changed or something. Count me in on the list of people that hate hearing the "other" sports updates on 128.

Well, you can do what I do when they go to any commercial....change the channel for three minutes then change it back.

I use the power of Sirius when 30 minutes into Speedway and Moody has taken the 3rd stupidiot caller wanting to input his opinion on how to change or not the top 35 rule. What is the power of Sirius you ask? Simple really as it has two options. Option 1. the power button, turn it off . Option 2, pick a random channel and listen to it instead.

I just heard one of these. From what I can gather, they must have the sense that people tune into a sports channel and just keep it on that channel. So, it sounds like, by mentioning other channel numbers when they talk about golf, or whatever, it's as if they're trying to let people know those other channels exist, and in turn encouraging people to check them out....and if they can't get people to do that, they're still able to keep people updated of what's going on in those other sports.

Perhaps a its a bit annoying, but at least its better than forcing one of the hosts to do it like Pete did in the morning, that really broke up the show.
