speedway president jeff boerger announced today that starting in 2010, they will ban smoking in the grandstands and all enclosed areas of the complex.

the policy, however, will not be enforced at the planned hard rock hotel and casino.

When I was a drinker, I was also a smoker. When I stopped smoking, I stopped drinking. For me the two went hand in hand. It just seemed wrong to have a drink in my hand but not be smoking.

Bristol is a much nicer experience now that there is no smoking in the grandstands

I know alot of people who say the exact same thing.

Auto Club has a no smoking policy. It doesn't bother me because I think it's rude to smoke in front of non-smokers anyway.
