    Trying Slacker and Pandora

I assume your talking about the paid version. Because I have the free version on my iPhone and it seems like it only caches maybe 15 songs as I start hearing repeats after only 2 hours. Granted I skip stuff so that is decreasing the playlist quicker but there is no way I've gone 7 hours between...

MOG MOBILE MUSIC APP NOW AVAILABLE FOR iPHONE AND ANDROID

I'm interested in the high quality download option for the Touch/iPhone. I might try the 3 day trial on my wife's Touch (don't have a iPhone 4 yet).

iOS 4 Available June 21st...now free for iPod touch users!

True. I'm used to the MacOS upgrade system: bug fixes = free, new features = upgrade for $130. I'm really impressed that iOS4 is free, but considering most of the really cool new features require new hardware I'm sure its resulting in alot of iPhone sales for Apple anyway.

    Skydock with iPhone4

Bummer, but I figured as much. Sirius really needs to release there own version of the SkyDock or make the XM version compatible with Sirius subscriptions.

    Skydock with iPhone4

Does Skydock work with Sirius? For example I have a Sirius account (and Pioneer car radio) can I add a Skydock? I don't care about any of XM's programming, I just want my Sirius to work on my wife's iPod Touch while driving in the car.

iOS 4 Available June 21st...now free for iPod touch users!

I don't see how they can give it away for free... just like OS updates - bug fixes are free, but NEW features cost money. They are free on the iPhone because your paying a monthly fee for "services", you don't pay this on the Touch. So the upgrade cost never really bothered me, plus it was only...

    Slacker 2.0 for iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad Approved (6-2-10)

Combined with the new iPhone allowing background apps plus AT&T data plan caps the ability to cache the stations has instantly turn this into the MUST have internet radio app. I already have a G2 but this new app basically turns your iPhone INTO a G2. In a world of fail this is a huge WIN in my...

Slacker announces Caching for the iPhone

Excellent news. Since Slacker has stopped developing hardware its good to see they are pushing their software solution to have all the features their old hardware had. Caching songs on the Touch is awesome. Just wish they offered Chumby support as I ordered one to replace my bedside alarm clock...

    No more Slacker hardware

Shocked this wasn't posted here already: Slacker phases out hardware business, focuses on other devices Given the popularity of the iPhone/Touch this makes sense, no reason to have yet another "box" just to access the service. However if you can't cache the music (like you can on the G2)...

I thought the Strobe was back?

Months have gone by and Sirius still hasn't fixed this? Or is it just my radio (Pioneer car stereo) :idunno:

    Slacker Spotlight Week 16 " JMII's Dance 1" ( Custom).

Man I wish I knew my station was up for review I would have uploaded all the changes I've made. It originally was designed to replace the station that got me into Electronica/Trance/Dance - Party 93.1 FM in Miami. '02 - '04 playlist here: PARTY 93.1HD2 Archives on party931.com

    Slacker G2 goes dark again

I know this is an older thread but my Slacker G2 just "went dark" and required a hard reset to bring it back to life. This was very strange in that the battery was about 75-65% charged, it had only been disconnecting and sitting idle for 2 days (over the weekend). I plugged it into the dock in...

How many hours are you Slackin ?

1 hour a day during my commute to/from work. Sometimes on the weekend I'll listen for 2 hours at night while tweakin my stations. However I still listen to Sirius for about 4 hours on the weekend, but I could replace that with Slacker time if I really wanted to.

Just added my vote... completely slipped my mind before.

The Slacker 'List your Presets' thread

This is the main reason to upgrade to the paid service if you ask me! :smug: Then you have unlimited requests with unlimited skips so its possible (with some time/effort) to make a nearly perfect playlist. I've recently started doing more requests in an effort to fine tune my stations and the...
