Wow took me a week and 5 emails messages to get my Mailstreet service canceled and refunded to my credit card per their 30 day guarantee. The cancelation process requires a huge survey to be filled out and you can't bypass any of the fields. Totally crazy!

I am still playing with ME, but I plan to cancel it as well, that will be done with a simply push of a button within the ME web application account access.

If anyone else is trying to figure all this out, I hope this thread will help you! I think Gmail is your best bet even if you have your own domain and pay full price it is cheaper than most of the exchange hosting services and ME.

Google's support is a little weak, but there are enough message boards out there to cover just about anything you can come up with.

Actually when you have the Business or Education setup, you have an 800 number with a special pin and the support has been top notch. I know on our business domain we initially had a problem, which was fixed quickly. They also helped me add my personal domain as well which there is no way to do this on the user interface, but they can do it on the backend. All done in about 20 minutes to my surprise.

I think just their standard free email support probably isn't as responsive.

I use MobileMe (as well as .Mac before that) and the "Find my iPhone" feature alone is worth the yearly price.

I tested the Find My iPhone on my first gen phone and the message was sent to the phone instantly. I also tested Remote Wipe and it starts immediately after you click OK.

No support for multiple idents. Which made it of no use to me.

Yeah, I have to admit I like this feature a great deal! I got till late August to decide if it is worth keeping overall.

When your trial runs out, check with Amazon as they normally sell MobileMe at a lower price. Right now it's $63.49, but if the price goes back to the normal $99 when you decide to buy, you can always check the other merchants that Amazon deals with as there is always someone there selling the product for less.

Not to mention the remote wipe if your phone is stolen. Both that and the 'Find my iPhone' features are well worth the price of admission.
