Just reading this tonight and they must have updated it, because now it says Netbook.
I think with the release of iOS4.2 the iPad becomes even more viable as you'll be able to do word processing, editing of documents with the ability to print them. There are apps for that now, but most of them are pretty crappy and not very reliable. Built in printing certainly helps I know I will use that feature.
I often use my iPad to take notes during meetings. I also often make notes during the course of my site visits when I find deficiences which I like to address in staff meetings. This is just so much more easy than dealing with a netbook.
I also use it for leasure reading and watching HD Videos via Netflix. Display is great much better than most Netbooks.
Goes to show that while overall the iPad may not be able to do everything a Netbook can, that what it can do very well, is very appealing even at the premium price that it comes with.
