I don't have that kind of stupidity built in. If I hear someone is gay I imediately think of all the benefits of knowing this person. Sense of fashion, humor, etc. Nothing to do with God or the fucking bible or being attacked or catching gay or the fear of people thinking I'm gay or being hit on.
Just good sense of style pops up. Unfortunately there are people and lots of them that do the exact oposite. They take it as some huge deal. Abomination that needs no further attention to a whole lot of people. Hell, almost 50% of the country right now is voting against gay and women rights. That's pretty God dam disguisting if you ask me. THOSE are the people that I get fight or flight reaction from.
Getting back to stern, his point is that on Oprah and daytime TV they pretend that guys blowing eachother doesn't happen but Kardashian gang bang is bible worthy and open for general discussion like it's old hat. Talk open about it kills the shock value.

But Howard is doing a bit when he gets George to talk about sex with Brad. George may be deluding himself that it's not a bit but it is. Howard is not just chatting it up. It's fine to do a bit. George has no problem and everyone likes George. What bugs me (well, a little bit) is Howard bragging about doing good works for gay people by making gay sex sound normal. It's clearly freakish to Howard and he doesn't make it sound normal (wonder if he ever took the planned coffee table book photos of Sal and Richard having gay sex?)
