Default What? Robin is working with a catheter and a urine bag?

I cannot imagine leaving my house with a catheter and a urine bag strapped on. Yet Robin is going to work with one because a 5" tumor is pressing on her bladder and preventing her from pissing? And she seems almost cheery. She is cheery. I don't know whether to see this as a sign of her craziness or cheer her for her fortitude. Think I'll go with the cheering. I wonder if a caller is going to blame ths on her diet.

Hundreds of thousands of people have them and work every day.

Work seems like a way to not let it bother you. People that have them that don't work at HSS, don't usually tell everyone though.

Yeah I'm not sure why this is a big deal. I have a coworker that travels with one every single week and never complains or seems unhappy about it. He happily goes about his business and takes care of it when necessary.

Whoa... where is the bag? And if you are a guy, doesn't it hurt to walk with a catheter in your cock? My hat's off to all of those people. Again makes me deeply thankful that I have a body on which everything pretty much works.

Strapped to your leg.
I hear it can hurt from nurse friends. Especially at first or if they don't take care of them.

Couldn't agree more. Be happy that you're healthy. I do think it's cool when people will step up to let folks know it's ok when stuff like this happens. When Katie Couric did her colonoscopy on TV, that took some guts. It makes me just a little less worried about when the doctor tells me it's time to do it.

They give you an amazing drug for a colonoscopy. Click you're asleep. Click you're awake with a little leftover buzz. Almost like nothing happened.

When I left for work, Robin said she got some bad news but not of the death type that she wouldn't reveal. Hysterectomy? Anyhow, Howard wondered out loud if weird diets and coffee enemas were the source of her problem.

Hyster...ical? Cackling Robin?

(Ok, that joke fell flat, but it sounded better in my head.)
