I would have to believe all of Robin's weird diets are a factor, or perhaps she had her health issues beforehand, and that's why she was doing all that whacked-out stuff. Then, it seemed like she had a RAPID weight gain, which now seems like it was related to poor health.

Well, Robin can be super-annoying, but I hope she gets her health straightened out. I genuinely feel bad for her.

I feel bad for Robin too. She has such pride in her health and body and belief in these "alternative" treatments. Radical surgery does not fit into her holistic world. That said, I admit I think her green drink and coffee enemas and detoxing sessions are bullshit. Anyone else get the feeling that Howard was having a very difficult time discussing Robin's situation because it wasn't about him (many ass kissing calls today) or a subject of his choosing (like another fucking hour on Scott's participation in the Ronnie Block Party tour)? The only reason it came up was because a caller asked.

Robin Quivers may have cancer
Robin Quivers may have cancer - National howard stern | Examiner.com

Quote:
Howard Stern Show co-host Robin Quivers says she is undergoing tests to determine whether or not she has cancer.
Quivers made a disturbing discovery this weekend while she was attending a wedding in Pittsburgh. She woke up in the middle of the night and found that she was completely unable to urinate. After undergoing a CAT scan, doctors found a grapefruit-sized growth pressing on her bladder that may or may not be cancerous.

Quote:
Howard Stern Show co-host Robin Quivers still doesn't know whether the grapefruit sized mass pressing on her bladder is cancerous or benign, but does know there is a fairly ominous process involved in removing it.
Quivers spent Tuesday afternoon in and out of doctors offices after appearing on the Howard Stern Show in the morning.

Sounds like whatever comes next Robin will be off for a while, they will have to remove the tumor either way, and she might have to go through chemo, which you know she is against, and I wish her well, it is a hard battle.

She took the wind outta Howard's sails, how dare she!

Hopefully it is not cancer (Captain Obvious over here). And I'll continue to feel bad for her, regardless, but I hope she takes a moment to herself (doesn't have to be on the air) when she was acting all high-and-mighty about how her health techniques were FAR superior to Western medicine and what anyone else was doing to "be healthy". It would come as no surprise to me if a doctor tells her that she's taken years off her life (in the long run) with her wacky rituals.

I hope it works out well for her and she has a quick recovery.

if robin has to miss significant time to have surgery, howard would surely be forced to bring someone into the studio right????

Unless he's taking the days after live AGT shows off. (I honestly don't know, but I don't think so.)

Who would be in the studio then? Howard, Benji (is he even still in there?), and Fred.

And what would happen to the news? Clearly, he'd need something to discuss in between all those plugs at the end of the show, right?

Why, he would end the show at 9 and there would be no news...

i HIGHLY doubt eating a strict vegan diet (drink or not) can cause cancer. She may need to step off her high horse and realize that the diet isn't the end all be all of all western medicine. EVERYTHING about her life was superior to anyone else because of that diet (according to her) and thats simply not true.

I wish her the best, sounds like she may have a rough road ahead of her.
