Default Howard was weird today 03/05/12

The first hour was totally bonkers, it was like Howard went senile and got in his time machine. Imus rant for ages, and then a Limbaugh rant?!? I get why, but Howard always defaults to his same ol' arguments against them, he sounds like an Alzheimer's patient. Robin sounded uncomfortable about it, too. It's weird that after ALL this time he still treats Imus and Limbaugh like cutthroat competitors to him.

He's simply jealous that they have been so successful when he feels that they are beneath him, talent wise.

Not only that Limbaugh has completely surpassed Howie, by millions.

What are you talking about Spokker? I only heard pieces of the show. Did he do it yesterday?

Oh, you are talking about the thing back in the mid 90s, right?

I was looking forward to him ranting about Rush. Screw that guy. Grade A piece of garbage. As for Imus, was this comment recent or old? I thought it was a recent comment. The only reason why Imus brings up Stern is so people will tune in. Otherwise the show is a horrid mess of uncomfortable commenters.

I wonder what Howard would say about this:

Quote:
Once again, Rush Limbaugh -- the conservative provocateur with the self-described "talent on loan from God" -- is in hot water. Limbaugh, who has been the leading talk-radio host for more than two decades, ignited this most recent controversy when he made comments about Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke, who had testified as an advocate for contraception at a Capitol Hill hearing.

It's not a matter of who is "liked" more, but there is no denying Limbaugh as exactly what that quote says, the leading talk-radio host for more than 2 decades. For the record, I do not listen to him.

At one point, Howard said "Limbaugh is disturbing to look at, sitting in that studio." UMM, WHAT? It's not like Howard is pleasant to the eyes! I just wish if Howard is going to resort to saying Imus and Limbaugh are such HORRIBLE lack-of-talents, he could base it more in something substantial.

Imus, I guess he has a contract to fulfill, but his whole schtick seems to have died off. The clips Howard played were horrible, and not just the content, the whole thing was a mess.

True or not I'm sure Howard would have a few things to say about it.

I listen to Rush once in a while. You just have to listen knowing that everything is done for shock value and it is all a big production.

I am fairly certain that inthe past Howard has described Limbaugh as a horrible person who is a good entertainer. Imus has a following among Wall Street types and other categories white collar males. In the past, he has interviewed lots of national politicians, political writers, economic writers and network news anchors. He calls lots of people morons. He talks in third person ("We don't like him").. He loves to insult people (unfairly) for shock value... For me, he is insufferable and a real asshole...
