I think that the Howard Stern Show name will carry most of these guys pretty far in the industry (whether radio or just comedy shows in general).

Gary can get another job.

Will and Jason can produce for another show.

Benji could probably get a writing gig somewhere.

Ronnie seems to be set with the limo biz and new tv opportunities.

Sal and Richard? Hmm...i know bubba has said that he would hire both of them in a heartbeat.

J.D. is really the wildcard. He's great at what he does but how many shows need his talents?

Also, don't forget about kimmel, i bet he'd hire a bunch of those guys if/when howard left/leaves.
You had called Stern a selfish prick (to which I agree). But he's been saying all along, "What would my staff do without the show?" And therefore took that into consideration for renewing his contract.

I took this as relatively selfless if he meant it sincerely.

I really am speaking specifically about Richards wedding. I'm not one of the people that thinks he should be putting up his own money to hire bubba or kidd chris, and I do think he thought about what his staff would do if he retired (though i think for the most part they'd be "ok").

I just think if you can't give up 1 day out of the 25 you have off in a given month, you are being a selfish prick.

The Richards wedding thing is bullshit. Howard gets what 11 weeks off a year plus Thursdays and Fridays. He couldn't take 4 hours out of one day? He's just an asshole for doing that. I feel bad for Richard. None of the in studio staff will be there. Maybe Benji, but thats it.

I like that show! Maybe it's because I like fast food (yet I'm under 155lbs and am 6' and have pretty much zero body fat) and I don't have many of the restaurants they talk about (all of those burger places). I think it's fascinating listening to fat-asses talk about their fast food addictions.

I still think he's going to show up to the wedding.
