I Don't Want to Install iTunes

The rumor is that Stern is going to iTunes.

iTunes seems to have more measures in place to prevent piracy, though that's just my perception and I could be wrong. If he took the show online, I hope he goes with a service that doesn't have DRM, like Amazon MP3. I would definitely pay a fair price for that.

I'm just wondering how he gets the show into cars. I tried putting a SIM card in my car but it didn't work, haha.

I think this was debunked on Friday though I never believed it in the first place.

id be happy to listen to howie on itunes. i listen to a ton of podcasts already. but if hes not live in cars his sub numbers will go way down. then again he is howie and made sirius what it is today maybe he could do it again for apple. finally put podcasts on the serious map.

600 million for 3 years? WOW!!!!!!! 500 for 5 years was nuts.

Maybe I take it too seriously, but that was a dick move as far as I'm concerned.

While iTunes used to use DRM, they have now been DRM free since Q1 2009, if nto before. But yeah, this whole "rumor" has been debunked.

They still use some type of protection. I have a component video adapter for my iPad and I can't play most iTunes videos over it because they are protected.

That would make sense but you think Don put some jackass prank site up to it?

But there are pros and cons to the rumor. It's not all a positive for Stern and his crew to have that rumor going around.
