I listened to the xm show yesterday and it was much better than that fm crap. So i don't mind that they lost the fm deal. Also this radio war crap is very old and kinda gay. If you really think about it these fans of one show or another treat each other like shit for no reason(the millioniar i lkie is better than the millioniar you like nany nany boo boo)Look at orbitcasts comment section for every article. It is kinda gay.

What I meant was not that they are intentionally taking them down, but that a guest mentions a site and there's enough people listening that there's an unintentional DOS attack. So it's certainly more than 10-15 people listening.

I'm not gonna say they weren't gloating a bit returning to FM, but of course I have a different memory about how things went down. Even when they've bashed Howard, they've always given him props for what he accomplished in radio. In fact they've not only been not bashing him recently but quite nice as they've all been bumping into each other allot. Anthony ran into Howard playing poker, Opie sees Robin at his gym all the time, I think Jim lives in the same place as Fred or someone else from the show and sees them all the time. Hell Norton just did a bunch of shows with Artie Lange and is good friends with Jim Florentine.

Of course, all that changed this morning. Now Howard will sick the suits on them for defending themselves. And again, please get rid of them so I can cancel my last XM radio and be rid of satellite radio altogether. I've never been so disappointed by a single company in my life, I'd love to be free of them. Why would I want to continue giving my money to a company that thinks it OK to cut a bunch of it's music channels (that I am paying for) overnight without warning? Sirius and XM may be better than FM but that's really not saying much. If I drove a tractor-trailer I'd want it, other than that they can keep it.

Man, we could have used you to castigate the O&A trolls who used to swarm all over SBS, posting crap in every thread. Where were you then? Funny how after one radio show ends in abject failure, and the other is the highest rated show on satellite by triple and quadruple any other channel, all of a sudden "Radio wars are gay!!"

Shit, even in the ghost town that is The Virus forum, the only post in days is crowing about O&A ragging on Howard. Where's the "Radio wars are so gay" post in there?

Isn't this the same two self-proclaimed radio Gods who said they could do much cleverer things to get around the FCC rules that Howard couldn't handle? That they were bestest at doing FCC clean radio, and Howard was too old and tired to take on the FCC and the suits at XRK?

I didn't see the post in the virus section yet, as far as the pest attack goes i hadn't discoverd the message boards on the interweb till a little after that. O&A are still on xm and in the end does it really matter what the ratings are for this show or that it's all just backgroung noise while you work. Radio wars are stupid just take a look at the guy in that gif smashing is radio with his fist and tell me he looks like a warrior! LOl (Pests, Bubba Army,do stern fans have a nick name? SFNers maybe ?) In the end none of them are gonna help me pay my mortgage.

Of course it's a ghost town, it couldn't be any more clear that O&A fans aren't really too welcomed at "digitalradiocentral" and this place in general is just a smidge biased towards Sirius. What was that one poll, "How many people have you turned on to SiriusXM"? Are you kidding? A few years ago maybe, but one company taking over the other has ended quite badly for allot of us. I actually subscribed to Sirius for awhile too and enjoyed having two distinct satellite services with different programming ideas and directions. Now we have less choices, and we pay more for it.

I hope the company burns through more cash it doesn't have and is bought outright by an even shittier company that runs it even further into the ground. When's the last time they released some official sub numbers? Everyone I know with sat radio has cut radios, I can't imagine things are looking rosy. Of course, there are a record amount of cars in the US sitting in lots right now not yet sold so I'm sure those will all be counted as subs in the world of SiriusXM.

Well, that post is by the Pest Grand Poohbah at SBS, and he does his best here at DRC. What do you say about a guy who once posted an O&A troll in a 9/11 Remembrance thread?

I was going to step in and stick up for O & A on principle and then I saw this post

Ok, I still will stick up for them by saying this. They have fans on Satellite and lots of people enjoy them. They should be on Satellite Radio because of this. How much money they get should be based on how many Satellite listeners they have.

If people don't like them, they don't have to listen.
