I had the first Apple TV and wow have they come a long way! It's great how you can control it with the iPad or iPhone. The interface is quite user friendly. iCloud is awesome as well for this device. But I'm really fond of the airplay feature.

It's interesting for those of you have the air supremacy game for the iPad that the iPad becomes the controller and the game play is seen on the tv. It's a touch choppy but overall it's a pleasurable experience. I think there's a few other games like this.

Does anyone know all the applications that really take advantage of AirPlay? I've really just found iPhoto and Air Supremacy.

Also share your thoughts on the new apple tv if you have one!

New Apple TV in terms of picture quality is fantastic. The whole user interface and experience is much improved. I mainly do Netflix, but really wish they would add more content like Hulu Plus, CNN/Fox Apps ect so you would stream some live content. However, that could put them head to head with cable companies. I can stream CNN right now from my iPad to my big screen TV and it looks great.

I use the heck out of airplay on a daily basis, mainly listening to music, but have used it to to mirror content on a large screen TV. We are doing a family gathering for Easter and I've created a picture album from our childhood to current. We are going to throw that up on the big screen. I've done a test run and it looks GREAT!.

iPhoto on the iPad is fantastic, I've used it to enhance some photos and also upload content to other sites. Works great too.

I use to have the 2nd generation Apple TV late last year, but I had some issues of it accessing my library probably do to my firewall? But anyway, since I built my newly PC. I went back out and bought the 3rd generation Apple TV device and now this time, I am able to access my library. But anyway to get back on track, now I can finally use the AirPlay feature and I love it as well, I can view all my TV shows and movies, that I have on my computer.

I agree with DAB, I just wish there was several more apps to choose from on the Apple TV, like play certain games.
