The new shuffle reverts its form factor back the old shuffle:

Sucks for those of us who bought the gumstick-size shuffle with the controls on the headphones. This device here helped solve its sweat-in-the-controls problem...for a small fee.

DAMN!!!!

so i get home yesterday after having my 160gb classic in my pocket all day and realize it has its first real scratch on the screen. its on the far right side in just about the middle. i have a thread here about ipod cases and i used a belkin hard shell case for awhile. then my firends told me that they never has issues with scratches so i took it off.

now i must say it did take awhile for this to happen. i have had the unit since december and have had it out of the case for about the past 4 months. i use the thing every day and there have been a few times its been dropped. but the scratch happened just in my pocket. i must have had my phone in that pocket too or sometthing else that would cause it.

the scratch is not that big a deal, but things like this will drive me nuts for a few weeks. i will now get a cover for the screen. i have grown to like the small size of the unit out of the hard shell case so i dont want to go back to that.

ehh...what can ya do right?
