Hello...I know my Starmate 2 is old but it's worked great until recently. The signal meter goes crazy once in a while and it has trouble holding the signal. This happens about once a week then goes away. I called Sirius last week and they made me unplug everything - wait a few seconds and presto!...it was OK, for a week or two. They told me I had an "equipment problem" but couldnt tell me exactly. Any ideas? Also, I'm looking at replacing the S2 but dont want to re-do all of the wiring...which was done at Circuit City by a great technician. Any thoughts on which model to buy?
Thanks!...what a great site!

Hello all

First off I just wanna apologize in advance for the randomness of this post. I have a Sirius Streamer GTR that I have had since 2006, I called up Sirius in late 2008 to cancel my subscription. I did not want to, but I had more pressing issues in my life at the time. Came to find out that my plug n play still works to this day. I know no one knows how long that lasts, so I'm gonna enjoy it while I can

Anyways, about a year to two years ago I was on Ebay and came across this Sirius accessory that allowed Sirius plug n play radios to be used as a portable just like the Stilettos. It had a battery compartment as well as an antenna (I think).. Altho it looked tacky, I thought the functionality would beat the tackiness of the way it looked.. I do not know what they are called and I recently looked on Ebay, but the seller isn't selling any at the moment.

Just wondering if anyone out there has seen what I'm talking about and if y'all know where I can find one to buy

Again sorry for the randomness, but hoping someone can help me.

Thanks,
Tom

Hello I need help on recovering my stiletto 2 radio. It is stuck on device recovery mode and I don't have a pc or a laptop at my house that I can use. Also the public library won't allow me to use a usb cable to try and recover the radio. So I want to ask anybody here if there is any other way to try to fix the radio? I'll appreciate any help I can get, thanks.
