I know this topic has been adressed before, but why is it that Sirius can't change the logos for the stations which have changed (i.e. Pop2k to Backspin, Cinemagic to The Strobe, JBC Korean Radio to MSNBC)? While listening to the NFL preseason games on my Stiletto 2 tonight, I noticed that the logos changed from the pre-empted station logos to the Sirius NFL Radio logo. Surely if they can do this, they can fix the others. No?

S50 problem...Firmware Updating :(

I'm not sure if anyone still uses an S50, I guess most people have moved on to a Stilletto. I've been using my original S50 (I think I bought it in 2005 or 2006) all this time when most people had to get a new one years ago - so I know I am lucky.

My S50 gets stuck on "Firmware Updating" forever, and then the machine turns itself off. I noticed that others have had this problem, but those posts are years old. Did anyone who had this problem ever get it resolved? What happened?

I was on hold for over an hour last night, and the only thing the Sirius tech could tell me was to take out the battery and put it back in. Now I can only listen to my recorded songs! Can anyone help?

My wife drives a Kia Sedona mini-van that has a Sirius branded radio and I recently got an Infiniti G37, which has an XM branded radio. As my trial runs out on the XM radio soon - can I add this to my Sirius account or vice-versa? I'd prefer to pay the 2nd radio fee of $6.99/mo as opposed to another $12.95 base subscription.

I have a Mirge that was broken last weekend. In the meantime, I picked up an XM unit on Craigslist that I'd like to activate. Now, I know you can't cross over at this point in terms of adding an XM to a Sirius account, but I do have a question on how Sirius will handle the balance due once I close down the Mirge. I have about 20 months left on my Mirge subscription--about $400 if I calculate it correctly. What I'd like to do is go lifetime on the XM unit. Will Sirius issue a refund on the $400?? I know at one point XM had a policy of refunding any balance due if you canceled the service. (Hard to do I know.) Does any one have any ideas about this? I'd like to use the $400 as a start on the lifetime payment for the XM unit.
