I know he listed multiple #1s prior as well. I will listen again. But both my wife and I reached the same conclusion.

Having re-listened, he first mentions Flowers as #1 in Dec 1978, then he mentions Freak, then Flowers again, then Freak again then Too Much Heaven. At this point he has listed 2 #1s who have gone back to #1 and he started with Flowers. I guess we assumed Flowers (having not heard it at #6) was the new #1 again. Had he started with Freak, we would have assumed Freak.

Not liking the out of sync programming. Caught the end of today's top 40 at 10:21 am (CST) and missed songs 32-40. I'll have to schedule future recordings with a 30 minute buffer on either side of the "scheduled" time frame. Kinda weird to see one playlist online and another on the SL2 when regular songs are being played.

It was boring. Although, I did hear a Harry Chapin song that hasn't been played on the radio in years called W.O.L.D which was about an alcoholic top 40 DJ.

At least it didn't have disco.

Call me an idiot, but I do like "The Lord's Prayer" from Sister Janet Mead.

That song is good for a spin every day or so on The Bridge.

Is it me, or is SXM not airing restored AT40s anymore? The past few times I've listened, the shows had a ton of pops and scratches and yes, even a few loud skips. During the middle of Redbone's "Come and Get Your Love" from this week's show from 1974, there were three VERY LOUD pops and a skip. Almost tough on the ears.
