Default Coffee House

I like to listen to Coffee House at work. I have noticed that the variety is really lacking. I hear the same things every day, day after day. It has gotten to the point where I can't listen anymore because it is too repeative. They need to expand the play list and mix it up some more. Isn't that what we pay for?

You sound like the perfect Slacker candidate...

Yes, it's repetitive, but that's what we pay for...

Sorry...

No really, they have to change the format of this station to be like the old XMX, except only the in-studio performances. I mean, Sirius/XM has some 8 years of music in their catalog they can play

It would just be nice to hear something repeat maybe every 3rd or 4th day, not every day. I don't need to hear the same John Mayer and Tracy Chapman songs everyday. Did they sell there catalog to reduce their debt?

I went out with my gal the other night and I heard Coffee House being played at a womens clothes store. It was nice change from all of the techno shit I'm used to hearing at such places.

There is an antique store in our town that plays the Coffee House. It's a good fit for the store. I listen to it every once in awhile, usually Sunday mornings reading the paper.
In addition to the Antique store, we have a pizza place that plays First Wave, an Arbys that plays 70s on 7, the fabric store plays 40s on 4, and a hardware store that plays 70s on 7. It's taking over our small town.
I would guess our 1 radio station in town is pissed.
