I really like the fact that the channel shows just how much variety the decade had....unlike 80s on 8 (even though the eighties had a lot of musical variety whenever you looked at the Top 40, especially during the MTV years).

A weird situation, I am more of an 80's music fan than 90's but the way these two channels are programmed I love the 90's channel more than the 80's (I like the 70's though)

I was going to start a new thread, but decided what I wanted to say would fit just perfect with this one. I have been listening to 90's on 9 a lot and must say it is light years ahead of 80's on 8. The programming model that Rick Stacey should be using on 80's pn 8 is the same concept that you hear on 70's on 7 and 90's on 9 with a good mix of everything including rock, pop, soul, lots of one hit wonders... This is not broadcasst radio where you have to have a insultant tell ya the proper way to flush a toilet. I have been very impressed with not only the sound and feel with the 90's on 9, but when I can have my wife listen to something else other than Hair Nation and Bone Yard then I know it is a good channel... I am a big music fan of anything from the 70's through today and really enjoy what I have heard on 90's on 9. CC

If you don't like 80s on 8 try 1st Wave 22. Euro 80s basically. Also Classic Rewind is more or less "80s" now.
