Lee Coulter
Today 12:00 pm ET
Hear an encore of Lee Coulter playing selections from his self-titled debut album! Raised in Australia, Lee grew up influenced by his parents’ taste in music, with The Beatles and Michael Jackson playing around the house, and was particularly inspired by Simon and Garfunkel. Lee decided in high school to start audio recording for other artists, teaching himself how to program on his computer with virtually no experience. A few years later, he began to write and perform his own songs, playing a number of shows around the country, primarily near his home in Southern California. Lee says his ultimate goals in music are simple: to make people feel good, and to impress his wife. (20 min) > Rebroadcast: Tomorrow 12:00 am ET

Keb Mo
Thurs 10/6 12:00 pm ET
Music veteran and three-time Grammy-winner Keb Mo stops by to play songs off his first studio album in more than five years, The Reflection. Keb taught himself guitar as a teen, then went on to play the steel drums and bass, influenced by the blues and gospel music of the early '70s. At 21, he was featured in an R&B group, until he finally released his debut album by 1980. Sixteen years later, he won his first Grammy after recording an album alongside both Jackson Browne and Bonnie Raitt. His newest album took more than two years to record and includes collaborations with India Arie and Dave Koz. (20 min) > Rebroadcast: Fri 10/7 12:00 am ET

Liz Longley
Thurs 10/13 12:00 pm ET
We welcome folk singer Liz Longley, a recent Berklee College of Music graduate who has opened for notable musicians including Amos Lee and Paula Cole. When she was only 16, as a birthday present from her parents, Liz recorded at a local studio, which earned the attention of Grammy Award-winning producers. She went on to pursue her education, and soon won first prize in the BMI John Lennon Scholarship competition out of more than 9,000 entries. John Mayer has even called her music “just gorgeous.” (20 min) > Rebroadcast: Fri 10/14 12:00 am ET

Coffee House Live with Colbie Caillat
Thurs 12/1 12:00 pm ET
Hear Colbie Caillat perform her new album All of You, which includes songs written by One Republic frontman Ryan Tedder. The daughter of a famous producer, who worked with bands that include Fleetwood Mac, Colbie became interested in playing the guitar and song writing, prompting her to audition for American Idol – which she says, didn’t go well. Rather than accepting rejection, Colbie went on to write songs that became popular overnight -- and since then, has earned her several Grammy awards for her work with artists like Jason Mraz and Taylor Swift, as well as being nominated for her 2009 solo album, Breakthrough. Since then, she has been performing all over the world, including the National Anthem at the World Series and most recently won the 2011 BMI Songwriter of the Year award! (20 min)

Growing up in California, Kina began her career by composing and submitting piano compositions to art competitions when only in elementary school. Her star really started to shine when, after college, she began posting videos on YouTube. They garnered more than 55 million views, which also helped her win a Super Bowl contest that included a record contract. However, she chose to be an independent artist and declined the deal. Coffee House Live with Jon Troast
Thur 12:00 pm ET
Hear Jon Troast play songs from his EP A. Jon built himself up from musical obscurity, playing coffee shops, bars and churches, expanding his repertoire, until he saved up enough to work with a producer in Nashville. His songwriting was inspired by Mr. Rodger’s song "I Like To Take My Time," teaching him to notice what’s going on around you, to think about what is important in life and to enjoy what you have. Jon started playing house concerts and has since played in hundreds of homes all across the country, including 100 concerts in 100 days! (20 min)

They’ll be on tour this summer, but before they hit the road, they stopped into the Sirius XM Studios to play some of their newest songs on Coffee House Live! Rebroadcast: Fri 5/4 12:00 am ET
