Default Are SiriXM station programmers getting lazy?

Another holiday weekend passes without any 'specials' on most stations. In past years, some themes were set up for alt nation, first wave, etc that changed things up a bit, playing some stuff that isn't typically heard. Some promotions missed the mark, but at least they were trying. It doesn't cost anything to use the holiday weekends as an excuse to mix up the playlists a bit. Add remix versions or current offerings from 80s staples on first save. Add boombox renditions to the alt nation lineup. Instead, they add a few stupid little clips between songs about thinks like applying sunscreen.

It seems that they have quit trying and think that being commercial-free is enough.

You missed Beach Party Radio.

70s had a Red White and Blue weekend.

There were a whole bunch but not every channel.
