I wouldn't have a problem with Apple buying Netflix as long as they don't decide what Movies should or should not be avalible for streaming. My wife and I love Netflix because they have a lot of horror movies. A lot of them are unrated. I don't want Apple or anyone else telling me what I can and can't stream.

That being said I doubt they would do that. They let all that stuff go on Itunes. I bet memebag is right about the only streaming to Apple products though. That would suck. Plus I think Netflix is doing a great job. They stream to almost everything and they've been making really good deals. Why would anyone have to buy them???

That sucks if you get DVD's too, but the streaming only is staying at a very good $7.99.

With Steve Jobs' Blu-Ray issues, I don't see them buying Netflix, at least not all of it. Either that or buying all of it and killing off the Blu-Ray/DVD Rental side. Streaming is going to be their big thing.

Netflix, at $16, is still cheaper than going to the movies with the whole family.

My plan (2 DVDs + streaming) is jumping from $16 to $20. That's a big jump, but still a good value for how I use them.

That won't effect me, if I do decided to join Netflix. I will just choose stream the movies.

I switched to Streaming only, if I need to see a first-run movie and it's not on Netflix streaming, I have Apple TV, who's rental prices are cheaper than going to the movies.

I switched to streaming only too. If there's a new release I really want to watch, I'll watch it on PPV.

God damnit! That was quick. Here's an email I just received from Netflix...

I think the library is just fine and if you can't find something to watch for $7.99 a month I'd say you are the odd man out. Just my two cents!
Their selection in Canada sucks. When I did my free month, almost every movie I wanted to see said "Not Available".
