Yeah I think they are beginning to cross a fine line there into making phones just not comfortable for being a phone! This is one of my bones to pick with the EVO. In my playing around with it I found it not nearly as comfortable to use as the Incredible or iPhone which are both about the same size.

The issue is how wide it is for me! I don't like wide phones because I want it to rest comfortable in my hand and unless you have big hands this isn't going to be comfortable. My son was the one that really brought that to my attention when we were checking it out last night at Best Buy. Then when I really held it like I would normally I too felt the same.

Different Stokes for Different Folks, but I do think we are crossing a line with these wide phones! Though it is good to see Verizon finally getting some decent smartphones. These DROID phones are all nice no doubt about it. But right now if I had to pick one I'd get the Incredible!

If you look at the person holding it, you can tell that phone doesn't really rest comfortable in their hand!
